Im not real familiar with scopes, but I would like to call your attention to something that I found interesting,
In this vid by Zero when the power is turned off there is a reflective wave that resembles a caduceus http://www.alt-nrg.org/index.shtml  watch the waveform on the scope at about 7:50 this is very interesting.

This is the first vid at the bottom of the page posted.
